Portrait & the Figure – Oct 13th & 14th

Portrait and Figure drawing and painting are arts that can be taught!  There are many ways in which you can learn to seemore clearly and get what you see down on paper successfully. There is no need to have a back off on drawing either a portrait or the figure!
On this weekend we will be practising just that!
Although this course is suitable for experienced students. younger students or beginners will benefit greatly.

Day One : Saturday

10.00:  Meet and Greet! Cathy will introduce the course  (Tea & Coffee will be served)

10.30 - 12.30: Morning session –you will have a series of easy exercises that help you draw the body and understand how it works.

12.30: Lunch (Bring your own picnic style or enjoy a simple rustic meal for £10*)

1.30 - 4.00: Afternoon Session - Don't be scared! This is the time to tackle a real person! You will be astonished at how easy it becomes

4.30: Round up and discussion of the day's progress. (Tea & Coffee will be served) 

Day Two : Sunday​

10.00:  Setting the goals for the day (Tea & Coffee will be served)

10.30 - 12.30: Morning session Morning session - A whole series of exercises to help you see the head more clearly. The pitfalls you have to avoid and the methods of checking whether you have got it right!
 
12.30: Lunch (Bring your own picnic style or enjoy a simple rustic meal for £10*)

1.30 -  4.00: Afternoon session - We will have the chance to work from a live model. Lots of practical help is on hand!

4.30: Round up and discussion of the day's progress  (Tea & Coffee will be served)
