Jessops farm - the garden
AN ARTIST'S HOME IN THE HEART OF KENT
Jim Turner and his wife, both sculptors and teachers, bought Jessops Farm in the late 1970s with the dream of creating an artists studio haven. For the last twelve years Cathy Bird and her husband, Stephen, (who purchased the farm when Jim died) have been helping to further that vision.
In June, roses tumble onto the grass from roofs and bushes. The trees Jim planted with such creativity have grown to maturity, creating an abundance of vistas and corners that demand to be painted.

"Cathy Bird is a truly inspirational and talented artist and teacher. She has mastered the ability of being able to judge exactly how much guidance is needed and enables both adults and children to find their own direction and style. I have learnt and continue to learn so much from her."
Thank you Cathy.
