Adventures with Abstracts – March 9th & 10th
Last year this was one of our most popular weekends. It seems that a lot of people want to delve more deeply into abstract art.
Many would love to paint abstracts. Yet what are the rules? What exactly is an abstract painting? Where do you start? Last year we looked at a few approaches and became very involved in creating our own responses, which turned out to be very successful.
This year we are taking up yet more ways in which you can express yourself through abstraction. Our guide on this journey will be the work of the legendary Paul Klee. It will be lively and a lot of fun!

Recommendation
“Although Cathy has vast experience in teaching art and deep knowledge of art, she is not intimidating. She has a softly, softly style that is encouraging and yet firm in guiding a novice painter like me to create good works.” SCC
