On this intensive weekend you will increase your confidence in watercolour painting while producing some exciting work as you strengthen your understanding and develop your skills.
SATURDAY 26th
10 AM - 12 PM
We will start with an informal discussion – giving Cathy a chance to understand your personal goals and, perhaps, problems.
Demonstration from Cathy of wet-in-wet techniques that will free you up and give you control over the paint
Your turn to have a go
12 PM – 1.00 PM - Lunch
1.00 PM – 4.00 PM
Colour Mixing – How to achieve brilliance
Darks and Lights – How to add drama
Movement and Life – How to make your brush speak
For each of these, you will be creating a small but vibrant painting
SUNDAY 27th
10 AM - 12 PM -
Painting Birds
Cathy will show you the easiest approach to bringing birds to life with your brush
12 PM – 1.00 PM - Lunch
1.00 PM – 4.00 PM
Get that Sketchbook into shape
The easy way to have a sketchbook that you are proud of - get ready to surprise yourself. . . .
