Expand your vision, open out your command of different drawing forms and, above all, learn to experience the joy that drawing can bring. No matter what your level of experience, you will discover some new delight in your drawing.

Day One : Saturday
10.00: Setting the goals for the day (Tea & Coffee will be served)
10.30 - 12.30: Morning Session – In a short demonstration, Cathy will show how one can pick the drawing tools to suit the subject in order to create far more effective images You will then have some fun exploring this for yourselves with a range of tools and subject matter. 12.30: Lunch (Bring your own picnic style, or enjoy a simple rustic meal for £10*) 1.30 - 4.00: Afternoon Session:Exploiting your pencil for maximum effect: How to make your pencil work ‘speak’. You will practise using your pencil in some exciting ways. You will also learn the potential of your eraser as a drawing tool. 4.30: Round up and discussion of the day’s progress.(Tea & Coffee will be served) |
Day Two : Sunday

10.30 - 12.30: Morning Session – This morning we will concentrate on adding variety of expression to your drawings. You will be looking at where and how to add emphasis and how the tiniest of marks can add to the mood and brilliance of your work. 12.30: Lunch (Bring your own picnic style or enjoy a simple rustic meal for £10*) 1.30 - 4.00: Afternoon Session – Pick your favourite technique or more than one technique) and use it to maximum effect in a drawing that you visualise, design in your mind and create on the paper. 4.30: Round up and discussion of the day’s progress.(Tea & Coffee will be served) |
